STUDENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
RULES & REGULATIONS
- Fee once paid is non-refundable. No request for a fee refund will be entertained under any circumstances.
- Students opting for the fee installment facility must clear all outstanding fees before the commencement of the third week of the course. Failure to clear the fees within the stipulated period may result in termination of student services. Re-admission fees will be applicable in such cases.
- No installment facility is available for PMU courses.
- A separate fee will be applicable for Certified International Accreditation Courses.
- Students must retain all original fee receipts/slips safely, as these may be required until the successful completion of the course.
- Course dates and schedules may be subject to change in accordance with applicable government regulations and safety guidelines.
- Students below 16 years of age must submit a duly signed consent letter from their parent or legal guardian.
- A security deposit of ₹200 will be charged for the use of lockers by students.
- The Aftercare Programme is available only to students enrolled in the Masters in Advanced Artistry Course. The programme is valid for six months from the date of certification. Eligible students may attend up to five aftercare classes during this period.
- In the event of any damage to or theft of academy property caused by a student, the student will be liable to bear the applicable repair or replacement expenses.
EXAMINATION & CERTIFICATION
- Every training programme is completed only after the student undergoes the required theory and practical assessments. Examinations will be conducted according to the guidelines prescribed by Keywest Academy.
- A Course Completion Certificate will be issued only upon the successful completion of the course and the required examinations.
- Certificates will be issued only after the student has successfully completed the course and cleared all outstanding fee dues.
- In case of loss or damage to a certificate, a duplicate certificate may be issued at an additional cost.
- Once a student appears for the examination, re-examination will not be permitted, unless otherwise decided by the Academy Management.
- Certificates must be collected personally from the Academy by the student.
ATTENDANCE & LEAVE
- A minimum of 80% attendance is mandatory for a student to be eligible to appear for the examination. Attendance records will be maintained in the Academy logbook, and students are required to sign the logbook daily.
- In case of leave due to medical reasons, the leave application must be supported by a valid medical certificate.
- If a student remains absent without prior information for more than 7 consecutive days, their name may be struck off the rolls. The student will then be required to rejoin the course as per the Academy’s applicable policies.
- Students are not permitted to bring outsiders or guests into the Academy premises during working hours without prior approval from the management.
GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION
- Any act of indiscipline, misconduct, misbehaviour, or violation of Academy rules within the Academy premises may result in immediate termination.
- Keywest Academy reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrolment without prior notice and without a fee refund in cases of serious misconduct or violation of Academy policies.
COURSE DOWNGRADING
- Downgrading from one course to another is not permitted. However, the Academy Management reserves the right to modify this policy at its discretion.
BATCH TIMINGS
- Students must strictly follow the batch timings allotted at the time of admission.
- Any request for a change in batch timing will be considered solely at the discretion of the Academy Management and will be subject to availability.
PUNCTUALITY & DISCIPLINE
- Students must report to the Academy at least 15 minutes before their scheduled batch timing.
- In case a student arrives late, the topic or portion of the class already covered will not be repeated.
- Students are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings. Keywest Academy will not be responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal valuables.
- Students may be required to volunteer as models during classroom demonstrations as part of the practical training.
- The use of mobile phones is prohibited during classes. In case of non-compliance, the management reserves the right to confiscate the device temporarily and take appropriate disciplinary action.
PHOTOGRAPHS & VIDEOS
- Keywest Academy reserves the right to use photographs and videos taken during the programme for Academy branding, promotional activities, marketing materials, websites, and social media platforms.
- Students are not permitted to record videos or take photographs of classroom presentations, demonstrations, or training sessions while classes are in progress without prior permission from the Academy Management.
STUDENT REDRESSAL MECHANISM
- Students may raise any academic, administrative, or other concerns by writing to the official email address provided to them at the time of admission.
- The Academy will review and address genuine student concerns in accordance with its applicable policies and procedures.
STUDENT PRODUCTS & KITS
- Students are required to use only Academy-approved products, tools, and kits during classroom sessions.
- The use of unauthorized or unapproved products and materials during practical sessions is strictly prohibited unless prior approval is obtained from the Academy Management.
STUDENT INTERNSHIP & PLACEMENT
- Internship and placement assistance, where applicable, is available only for selected courses.
- Eligibility for internship and placement assistance will depend on the student’s overall performance, attendance, discipline, practical skills, and examination results.
- Internship or placement assistance does not constitute a guarantee of employment.
DISCLAIMER
- These guidelines are intended to serve as a general guide for students of Keywest Academy. The Academy reserves the right to modify, amend, add, or remove academic programmes, policies, rules, regulations, schedules, and operating procedures at any time.
- Any such changes made by the competent authority of the Academy will become effective as determined by the management and may apply to both existing and prospective students.
- Keywest Academy does not make any commitment, confirmation, or guarantee of job placement or employment to any student.
- Internship and placement assistance, where offered, is subject to the applicable course, eligibility criteria, Academy policies, and availability of opportunities.
- By enrolling in a course at Keywest Academy, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions, Rules & Regulations, and Academy policies.
